Syntiant NDP120 Awarded ‘Best Product of the Year' at tinyML Summit
Latest Generation Processor Recognized for Most Significant Technological Advances in the tinyML Marketplace
IRVINE, Calif., April 14, 2021 – Syntiant Corp., a deep learning chip technology company advancing low-power intelligent voice and sensor processing in edge devices, today announced that its Syntiant® NDP120™ Neural Decision Processor™ (NDP) has been named “Best Product of the Year” by the tinyML Foundation.

The NDP120 is Syntiant’s newest special purpose processor for always-on audio and sensor processing in battery-powered devices, from earbuds to mobile phones to laptops and other consumer products. Packaged with the Syntiant Core 2™, a highly flexible, ultra-low-power deep neural network inference engine, the NDP120 supports Ok Google and Hey Google hotwords at under 280uW (microwatts), and can run multiple applications simultaneously at under 1mW (milliwatt), such as keyword spotting, multiple wake words, local commands recognition, multi-modal sensor fusion, and multi-axis acceleration, among other voice and sensor applications.
